Meet Autumn Shead - Owner
With over 12 years of experience in education and a deep-rooted passion for mentoring, teaching, and guiding students toward success,Autumn brings both expertise and heart to every learning session. Holding a Master’s degree in Developmental Education with a specialization in Math, along with a BA in Mathematics and a BS in Math Education, Autumn is deeply committed to helping students build strong mathematical foundations and confidence.
Over a span of seven years in the classroom, Autumn has taught a range of high school math courses, including Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Precalculus. As an Algebra 1 teacher, she led students to a 92% pass rate on the Algebra STAAR test and served as an Algebra 1 lead for two years, mentoring other educators and developing curriculum strategies that foster student growth.
Beyond the high school level, Autumn has also tutored student-athletes at the university level in College Algebra, Calculus I & II, and Statistics, ensuring they met both academic and athletic goals. Whether working with high school students striving for college readiness or supporting collegiate athletes balancing academics and sports,she is known for patience, encouragement, and the ability to break down complex topics into understandable steps.
As a certified teacher, Autumn is not only qualified but genuinely driven to make a difference. Every session is an opportunity to inspire confidence, foster critical thinking, and ignite a lifelong appreciation for learning.
